Yes. OctoMonitor is an independent EcoFlow monitoring project with local history, custom dashboards, reports, and automations.
What can I use OctoMonitor for?
Use it to monitor supported EcoFlow power, battery, solar, and socket readings; keep local telemetry history; build dashboards; review reports; and configure supported alerts, schedules, and automations.
Which EcoFlow devices can I use?
OctoMonitor includes monitoring views for DELTA Pro, DELTA 2 Max, PowerStream, and EcoFlow Smart Plug / Socket. The compatibility guide explains the readings and controls for each. Availability depends on the device, firmware, region, and EcoFlow API.
What is new in reports?
Smart Plug Power & Energy History compares recorded socket power and energy with PowerStream readings. AC Input History adds observed battery-percentage changes. Lifetime Energy reports show device counters, estimated output, and coverage gaps. Automated Execution History records actions sent through OctoMonitor, including their trigger and confirmation status.
How are app updates protected?
When an update requires data protection, OctoMonitor waits for a Safety Backup verified for that specific update. Follow the update prompt to export and save it. A normal Full Backup or database analysis does not unlock the update. If verification fails, the update stays pending and the app offers a retry or recovery step.
Can I recover an interrupted backup?
Open Backup & Restore to review the saved recovery options. You can retry to a new file, retry the original file where available, or build the backup in browser staging. File retries start a fresh copy; browser staging can resume from completed, verified sections. Keep the app open until the final backup is saved and verified.
Can I connect over Bluetooth?
Settings includes experimental Bluetooth setup for a nearby DELTA 2 Max on supported platforms. It is off by default and currently saves setup preferences only. Live Bluetooth connection, telemetry, and controls remain disabled pending physical-device validation. Use the normal EcoFlow API connection for monitoring.
How were the videos recorded?
Product clips were recorded locally from OctoMonitor preview mode with seeded demo data. They do not contain private telemetry, credentials, account details, or real device commands. The developer-access clip shows public EcoFlow pages followed by synthetic instruction screens; no login or credentials were recorded.
Does telemetry keep recording when I close the app?
Recording stops when you close the browser tab or installed PWA. Keep the app open and the device awake to collect history and run local rules. A hidden page or sleeping device can pause monitoring. Installing the PWA gives you a dedicated app window; it does not provide an always-on monitoring service.
Is OctoMonitor only a web app?
You can use OctoMonitor in a browser or install it as a PWA. Native Android and iOS builds are in development; public native downloads are not currently offered.
Can OctoMonitor send external notifications?
Optionally. Local notifications depend on browser or native permissions; Telegram and Pushover need separate provider setup, network access, consent, and delivery checks. External notifications do not make a closed browser or PWA keep recording.
Where does OctoMonitor store telemetry?
Telemetry history, dashboards, notes, and automations stay in the current browser or app installation. Live reads and commands still go directly to EcoFlow. Optional credential sync and external notifications are separate paths with their own settings and permissions.
Are the screenshots and product previews live account data?
No. They use mock, empty, non-sensitive, or seeded preview states to demonstrate layout and workflow—not live account state, private device history, or a live-device test.

No. OctoMonitor is an independent project and is not affiliated with EcoFlow. Keep the official EcoFlow app for account management, setup, firmware, and vendor-specific controls.
