Protect setup with an Essential Backup
Choose the smaller setup-focused export when you want to protect how OctoMonitor is configured without carrying its large time-series history.
RecommendationExport an Essential Backup after meaningful setup changes and before changing browser storage, app configuration, or important monitoring workflows.
ProtectsIt saves devices, settings, dashboards, notes, schedules, reports, automations, favourites, solar setups, Data Backup Report history, and recorded execution history.
ExcludesIt does not include telemetry history or device events. API keys, passwords, secure sync secrets, and session tokens are not included. Reconnect EcoFlow credentials separately after restoring on a new browser or device.
CautionA Data Backup Report describes the records available to protect; it is not itself an App Data Backup file that can restore those records.
- Open Backup & Restore and choose Analyse app databases for a read-only overview.
- Export Essential Backup and confirm the transfer report completes.
- Keep a downloaded copy outside the browser or device being protected.
