Keep monitoring active in practice

Open page required

Keep a desktop monitoring tab open

The full monitoring interface, local history, reports, and enabled local rules run in the current browser page while it remains active.

Best fitDesk-based live monitoring, multi-window workspaces, report investigation, and deliberate manual control.

ForegroundLive REST and MQTT readings, local telemetry writes, dashboards, reports, and local automations can run while the page remains open and the browser permits activity.

Background and closed appClosing the tab, browser, or computer stops EcoFlow polling and battery checks. Hidden or suspended tabs can also pause timers and network activity.

NotificationsBrowser notifications can work while the tab is open after permission is granted. They are not a reliable closed-browser alert path.

Prepare first
  • Keep the monitoring tab open on a powered, connected computer.
  • Use Keep App On where available and review the device sleep settings.
  • Grant notification permission and test delivery before relying on an alert.
